A spacious 2 bedroom ground floor apartment near the harbour & shops in the coastal town of Porthmadog. Very comfortably furnished to accommodate 4 or 5, with two shower/bath rooms and private parking with EV charging point.

"A lovely place to stay near the railway. This is our second visit. The location is great with the Welsh Highland Railway running passed the bottom of the garden! The flat is excellent. Well planned and furnished. Very comfortable. Hope to come again"

Very spacious, comfortable & well equipped flat. Although just off the high street it was very quiet. Lovely open garden area though we got no use out of it due to the poor weather.

I have been so many times it feels like a home from home
The flat has every thing you could possibly need to make your stay in Porthmadog as enjoyable and comfortable as you would want
Nothing is too much trouble for Gwen and any of the Staff if help or advise is required.

A lovely flat in a great garden location.Very well equipped with all the facilities we required . We did struggle to find comfortable sitting positions on the lounge furniture which was rather low for us elderly people.
However Mrs Thomas was most friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you for a great holiday.

Had a lovely week here.It is a perfectly situated accomodation for us and ideal for shops and the steam centre.Although in places it is a little tired and needs refreshing we still enjoyed ourselves particularly chatting to the staff.

We returned to the garden flat again this year.
We love the location in Porthmadog. Ideal for steam trains and the town.
Once again flat was very comfortable with excellent facilities.

This is a ground floor flat with plenty of parking. We are in the town so need to drive anywhere. The accommodation is very comfortable home from home. There is a large kitchen which is well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. The flat has two bedrooms with an additional single bed too. Big enough for all the family there are two bathrooms both with showers and one with a bath. The view from the lounge is lovely you can sit and relax watching the steam trains go by several times a day. The town has coffee shops and independent shops too. The Ffestiniog railway station is a short walk where you can relax watch trains the views are stunning. They serve meals all day in the bar or coffee shop. So if you are looking for a family holiday look no further.

We have stayed in this flat many times before. Whilst perhaps not the most luxurious property it has many features that suit us ageing visitors. Easy walking distance to the Ffestiniog Railway Station, the Harbour and the High Street with it's many shops and several good places to eat. The flat is all on one level and if sharing with friends the two main bedrooms are spaced well apart. Car parking is just outside of the property door and Gwen from STS Holidays can be easily contacted should you need help.

We had a very enjoyable holiday .The flat was very spacious and central to all amenities.shops , steam trains , nature reserves , harbour all within walking distance.and a safe place to park your car when not in use.The owners were very friendly and helpful . Perfect walkable location for all the amenities of Porthmadog but still close to drive to visitor attractions of Snowdonia. Ground floor flat with en-suite enabled us to take and elderly relative on holiday with no fuss. The flat was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we could have needed. Friendly communication and help from the owners.

The property is furnished to a high standard. Very comfortable and well placed, with lovely garden.
We really appreciated the delightfully carved bedroom furniture. Our mother loved the en suite room.
Thanks Gwen and staff for being so friendly, helpful and for making our visit so special.
One big problem with the holiday- we only booked 1 week. Please can we come back soon!

The garden flat is in an ideal location for travelling on the heritage railways, being in easy walking distance of the town and all it offers. The flat is spacious and car parking is welcome. It has such potential to be lovely holiday accommodation especially for the less mobile guests, but unfortunately, it is need of a total refurbishment as well as requiring a thorough cleaning. The furniture is dated and some broken, the bathrooms need a good cleaning to get rid of mould as one example. The information folder lacks sufficient detail as would be expected such as local GP/hospital, etc although this may be available but unable to locate. The notices on walls are scruffy and why is it necessary to pay for towels? Having stayed din many self catering places, we've never been asked to do this and it can't be related to Covid now.

Being so critical doesn't sit well with us but on this occasion, we felt it essential to raise these points so the company/owner can address the poor standards.

This is ground floor all the way. The main bedroom has a 5ft double with spacious room with plenty of storage places. The view out of the bedroom looks out onto the garden, the Ffestiniog train passes frequently, which is lovely. It has en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed which is very comfortable and storage areas. There is a a family bathroom with shower and bath. The lounge/diner is spacious with plenty of sitting area. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances eg washing machine and big fridge/ freezer. The garden outside is large with parking facilities. So it is very comfortable and we came back twice a year it is like being at home. The property is situated in the middle of the town so park your car up. There are good places to eat and drink eg The Port cafe is homemade fresh food with takeaway option including sliced ham. The Ship pub is the place to go for dinner and Sunday Roast. So it is ideal for holiday away. What more could you need.

The Garden Flat is really a excellent choice, very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Parking and garden spacious and really convenient. Excellent holiday accommodation with the added benefit of steam trains passing the end of the garden. My steam mad husband and granddaughter were in heaven! Lovely clean flat, all the mod cons included and an excellent location for the town and the railway station. Gwen is lovely and happy to help. We all enjoyed the garden, especially our granddaughter and our two dogs. Loved it so much we've booked for next year to get our 'Ffestiniog Fix' - We all love the Ffestiniog Fairley's and this flat is fabulous.

Have been staying here for many years ! It is ideal for disabled people as it is all on the same level has two showers and a bath. Also ideal for family’s as it has a large garden with a train at the bottom which goes to Caernarfon often. The property is fully equipped with all you need for a wonderful stay. There is ample car parking. The town is just outside the gate so no driving if you don’t want too. So if you want to get away this is the property for you. The owners are always available for to help out wether it be where to go or any problems.
